Jim Favre Construction Company

Meet The Builder!

Jim & Linda Favre

Jim and Linda Favre began building homes in 1984. After working for several years as an accountant, Jim decided to instead pursue the construction business as a career. He started out part-time by doing some remodeling jobs with a friend. An apprenticeship program through Nabholz Construction became available and he attended class in the evenings after work. Soon he quit his full-time accounting job to start building his first speculative house to sell. Now, after nearly 27 years and 143 houses later, the Favres have been able to make a living and a life because of the success of their business. “Our business is based on honesty. We always do the best job we can, no matter how big or small the home,” Jim says. Linda and Jim have been married 35 years and have 2 grown daughters, 2 sons-in-law, one granddaughter and one grandson. Linda has always been a full-time partner in the success of their business. She also has a background in accounting and bookkeeping, so she has always done all the administrative work for their business. She also does the decorating for the homes they build.

Jim Favre Construction has built homes all over Central Arkansas, from Conway to Benton and everywhere in between, including The Ranch and Chenal Valley developments in Little Rock; and also in Maumelle, Sherwood and Mayflower. The size of homes ranges from 1800 to 5000 square feet. “The Lord has blessed us with work, and we have always asked for His guidance in business and in life,” Jim says. About forty percent of their business has been that of custom-built or “pre-sold” homes and that has all been by word-of-mouth recommendations.
